72 Christmas Would You Rather Questions for Kids

Thonko

Seventy-two Christmas would you rather questions for kids aged 6 to 12: Santa, presents, holiday food, the morning itself and the days of winter break after it. It is a Christmas edition of the game that lasts all of December. The questions work in the car, at the table, or while you wait for the cookies to cool.

Santa and the North Pole

Would you rather ride in Santa's sleigh for one night or visit his workshop for a week?

Then ask: What would you want to find out that you could not learn the other way?

  1. Would you rather be one of Santa's elves or one of his reindeer?

Then ask: What would your job be, and what would be the hard part of it?

  2. Would you rather help Santa load the sleigh or help him read the letters?

Then ask: What would you notice about what kids ask for?

  3. Would you rather live at the North Pole all year or visit only in December?

Then ask: What would it be like there in July?

  4. Would you rather be the reindeer at the front of the sleigh or the one at the back?

Then ask: What does the one at the back do that nobody sees?

  5. Would you rather know how Santa gets down the chimney or how he reaches every house in one night?

Then ask: If you knew, would you tell anyone?

  6. Would you rather be in charge of the nice list or in charge of the wrapping room?

Then ask: How would you decide who goes on the list, and is that fair?

  7. Would you rather meet Santa for five minutes or get a long letter from him?

Then ask: What would you ask that only he could answer?

  8. Would you rather test every toy in the workshop or taste every cookie in the North Pole kitchen?

Then ask: What would you do when you found one that wasn't good?

  9. Would you rather steer the sleigh through a snowstorm or deliver to a town with no chimneys?

Then ask: How would you solve it?

  10. Would you rather wear an elf hat that jingles all December or a red nose that glows?

Then ask: When would it be a problem, and when would it come in handy?

  11. Would you rather skip your own gifts for a year to be Santa's helper or keep things as they are?

Then ask: What would you get out of it in place of the gifts?

Each question comes with a follow-up to ask once your kid has picked. Use it. The second answer is usually the one worth hearing.

For a party or a family dinner, print the list, cut the questions into strips and put them in a jar or a stocking. Each person pulls one out and asks the person on their left. The full rules and 200 more questions are on the main list.
